2024 Point-in-Time (PIT) County in Alameda County:
The Point-in-Time Count is an Annual Census of people experiencing homelessness and is a crucial initiative aimed at understanding and addressing homelessness in Alameda County. By conducting an accurate and comprehensive count of homeless individuals, we gain valuable insights into their unique needs and challenges. This knowledge, in turn, enables us to create more effective strategies to provide assistance, support, and resources to those experiencing homelessness in our community.
The initial 2024 Point in Time Count (PIT) preliminary data release is now available to the public. The data preview dashboard can be found here. The final report is set to be released later this year and it will include more detailed local data.
