Advocacy Committee

This committee is open to any interested stakeholders. It develops, comments on and advocates for public policies at state federal and local levels that enhance the initiative’s ability to end homelessness, particularly by adding funding resources to the effort.

  • Develop an annual advocacy work plan for the Leadership to adopt, including policy development and public education at the local, state and federal levels.
  • Review requests to EveryOne Home to endorse or oppose policies and legislation. Ensure the endorsement policy is followed with regard to items that can be resolved at the Committee level and those requiring a Leadership Board decision.
  • Craft and implement advocacy campaign strategies including outreach to EveryOne Home Stakeholders.
